Acting Awardee

Makala Scheel (She/her hers) is a rising senior in Columbia College Chicago’s Bachelor of Fine Arts - Acting Program. Makala is originally from Austin, Texas. She is looking forward to performing in her first viral performance in The Race by Michael Rohd. She is hopeful for the evolving future of theater and is excited to push the bounds on what a live performance can be.
