Scholarship recipient: Lucy Godinez

Lucy godinez, class of 2016, Northwestern university 

Lucy Godínez is a rising senior Theatre major in the Musical Theatre Certificate program with a double major in Latino Studies at Northwestern, where she has been seen in THE 86TH ANNUAL WAA-MU SHOW: BEYOND BELIEF (CJ, lead), URINETOWN (Pennywise), ANNA IN THE TROPICS (Ofelia), and GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT (Extraordinary Girl). Regional Chicago credits include IN THE HEIGHTS (Porchlight Music Theatre, Nina), and she looks forward to spending her summer with Mercury Theatre in their upcoming production of HAIR (Jeannie). A proud member of the Alpha Phi Fraternity, Lucy looks forward to her final Fall Quarter of college, which she will begin as Joanne in Northwestern's upcoming production of COMPANY.
