2022 Scholarship Recipient: Ian Mason

Ian Mason (He/They) is a senior Acting major at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. He fell in love with performing as a member of his elementary school storytelling club. From there, he found the theatre, going on to study at the UNC School of the Arts and continuing his education in Chicago, his new home. Recently, you may have seen Ian as King John in King John, directed by Kestutis Nakas, and soon he will be portraying Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Jim Iorio. Outside of the conservatory Ian is found acting on screen around the city or juggling in the park while standing on his roommate's shoulders.
