2019 Scholarship recipient: Emma Griffonei
Emma Griffone is a rising senior Theatre major in the Music Theatre Certificate Program with a minor in English Literature at Northwestern University, where she has been seen in THE 87TH ANNUAL WAA-MU SHOW: FOR THE RECORD (Miriam Masaad, supporting lead), RAGTIME (Sarah’s Friend), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Crystal; Northwestern and Bosnia Productions), and the American Music Theatre Project’s Readings of THE GIRL WHO (The Matchmaker/Tikaani; Noisemaker) and DIAMOND ALICE (Millie Brown; Alexander Gemignani/Ben Steinfeld). She has also orchestrated for multiple Northwestern productions. Emma is now a Waa-Mu Show Co-Chair and looks forward to her final Fall quarter in college, which she will begin as Alison in Northwestern’s upcoming production of FUN HOME.
