2019 Scholarship recipient: Claire Sundbye

Claire is a senior Acting major at CCPA/ Roosevelt University. This past year Claire was seen as Bargella in The Venetian Twins, and Barnardine/Juliet in Measure for Measure. While she appreciates all forms of theatre, her passion is in comedy. She’s been featured as a comedy writer at iO, and has made her way through various clubs and cabaret venues performing Stand-Up and improv. When not on stage, Claire spends her time with her hamster, Martin Short Jr. She is very grateful to be a Sarah Siddons recipient, and wants to thank her dedicated teachers for always believing in, encouraging, and inspiring her.
